This course is a mix of language and Thai culture - ideal if you are new to Thailand and want to understand the culture and learn a few essential phrases to get you started. Our culture aspect includes the Thai Monarchy, religion, family life, history and the do's and don'ts of social interaction. It also gives you the opportunity to ask questions about any aspect of Thai lifestyle and society.

Thai Language and Culture Course - TEFL TEACHER TRAINING
At present, this course is a requirement as part of our TEFL Teacher Training course. The course is run every few months to coincide with TEFL Training start dates.
The course follows the required syllabus as outlined by the Ministry of Education and is a combination of language, culture, history and how to integrate into Thai society. PLC School and Training Centre also include a day trip out to various locations and shows as an extra element to the course.
Although the course is primarily for TEFL students it is possible to join the Thai Language and Culture aspect only. This is ideal if you are completely new to Thailand and would give you some orientation and very basic language understanding.
TEFL / FOREIGN TEACHERS - Upgrade
If you are a teacher in Thailand and need to add the Thai Language and Culture module to your current qualification you can apply at PLC School and Training Centre for details and start dates.
