Learn to speak, read and write Thai with PLC
If you intend to stay in Thailand for any length of time, or you have business interests here, understanding and speaking basic Thai can give you a very important advantage.
Try it and see - beginner courses are structured to make the learning process easy, friendly and fast. You can learn how to include any words you already know into sentences or start at the very beginning. All levels are catered for and courses can also include the reading and writing of Thai script.
EDUCATION VISAS - If you study for 120 hours or more you then qualify for an education visa. This supports your study time during your stay in Thailand. GROUP DISCOUNTS - You can either get a few of your friends together and form your own group or you can join an existing group to make savings on your course fees (subject to availability).
WHAT TO EXPECT - You will be assigned a teacher who will access your current level and understanding or prepare you as a complete beginner. Your lesson times will be entered into a timetable and you can start right away. Terms and conditions relating to cancellations and study will be issued to you at sign-up.
PLC aims to make the language courses a good mix of all skills with a focus on speaking and conversation for beginners. You will learn about the tones and structure of the Thai language along with phrases and question forming that you can put to use in everyday situations.
Some students are business people and really need a good understanding of Thai language across the board. In this case PLC recommends you take a course as a single student so you can really focus on your skills. We also cater for small groups from companies or departments and also teach on-site in the case of large groups of employees.
