English Language Courses
LEARNING ENGLISH - THAI STUDENTS
If you are Thai or understand Thai language well, you can start your study of English with a Thai teacher. This can give you confidence and get you up to a level where you can learn with a native speaking teacher.
It is possible to start with a native speaking teacher and in an ideal world, this is the best way to learn, but PLC School and Training Centre understand that especially in the case of beginners, the cost and the progress of learning needs to be as productive as possible - especially if students are learning language for use in the workplace or have limited time for study.
LEARNING ENGLISH - FOREIGN, NON-ENGLISH SPEAKING STUDENTS
In most cases the language sounds and structure for European or other Western countries are not as widely different, especially when compared to tonal languages such as Thai. You can start with a level test and then have a native speaking teacher from the outset.
LEVEL TESTS
PLC School and Training Centre can help to find the best way forward for you. All students are given a level test and you can talk to staff and teachers to get advice before the course and teacher are finalized. You can tell us if you have specific needs and what your aims are (general, workplace, further study, relationships etc).
LEVELS
The learning levels are generally beginner, elementary, intermediate, upper-intermediate, advanced and then examination level.
You might also hear the terms A1, IELTS or something similar when referring to more advanced English. PLC School and Training Centre can offer the level required for visa application for Germany and the United Kingdom (A1) or the examination levels assoicated with study abroad or further education.

COURSES & PRICES
Our general language courses are available in 20 or 60 hour blocks. You can either stop or resign for a further 20 or 60 hours after you have completed a block of study time. PLC School and Training Centre does not ask you to sign-up for long periods of time or have any kind of long term contract for language courses. You will be issued with full terms and conditions relating to cancellation etc once you sign up for a course.
